Penta Global fabricates offshore jackets, process platforms and transportable modules onshore, in controlled conditions, then delivers them for installation at sea. Shop-built assembly cuts offshore man-hours, which is where cost, schedule and safety risk concentrate.
We deliver pre-assembled units and pre-assembled racks as turnkey packages, covering design, engineering, modelling, fabrication, assembly, painting, insulation, heat tracing, electrical and instrumentation. Everything is built at our Mussafah facility, which handles heavy and light structures at a capacity of 200 tonnes a month and is laid out so material flows straight through fabrication, testing and painting. Offshore, we build wellhead and process platforms and install them in association with our joint venture partners. The industry has moved steadily towards shop-oriented rather than field-oriented execution, and this is the business unit built around that shift: more of the work done where it can be controlled, inspected and signed off, and less of it done offshore.
