- Bachelors Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Electrical, Instrumentatiion
- Preferred T-BOSIET certificate, not mandatory
- Previous construction experience within the oil and gas industry
- Previous exposure to high voltage electrical installation including switchgear and electric drives.
- A working knowledge of BS/IEC/ISA/NFPA/IEEE/ISO/API/ATEX/IECEx codes and standards relating to electrical and instrumentation work
| Roles and Responsibilities |
- Review and approval of Method statements and procedures.
- Installation and testing of Cathodic protection system.
- Calibration of Instruments, Control valves, MOV
- Installation of instruments, JBs, Marshalling cabinets, PLC, DCS.
- Cable laying ,cable identification and Performs tests of continuity, insulation resistance.
- Performs visual inspections, dimensional test, checks rating and material for connection and Performs all relevant loop checks.
- Preparation of AS BUILT DRAWINGS according to the client’s scope.
- Checks power transformers, switchboard, accumulator battery, sockets outlet, lighting system, Earthing system, Skids, Fire & Gas system, PAGA system.
- Checks telephone system & witness testing for fibre optic cable.
- Coordinating with vendors like ICSS vendor, Switch gear vendors.
- Responsible for all interface activities which is related with other simultaneous projects happening and inter discipline coordination.
- Responsible for carrying out FAT and SAT actvities.
- Familiar with all start up activities like pre commissioning, functional check and relevant commissioning activities.
