Job description Electrical Instrumentation Telecom
- Hold a B.Sc. Degree/Diploma or an approved equivalent degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering. Shall possess Ex01 to Ex04 training certification asminimum from COMPEX, ATEC approved training or equivalent.
- Min. 10 Yrs. of experience in Electrical, Instrumentation & TelecommunicationInspection field in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Must be experienced in interpreting and applying EPC Contractor and Vendor design documentation in the construction, testing and commissioning of all Electrical/instrumentation and control systems in Offshore/Onshore Oil and gas new construction large projects. E.g., GTGs, Transformer DC and AC power distribution, Switchgears, control gear, cathodic protection, DC UPS, Fire-Gas and associated Systems.
- Familiarity with works related to Electrical & Instrumental works i.e. cable termination, I/O checks, and simulation checks. Formal qualification for work activities associated with LV/HV Equipment, 6.6KV and 11KV.
- Proven working experience including liaising with EPC Contractors, Manufacturers and Client representatives during the FAT and SAT of electrical and Instrumentation equipment/Systems.
- Fully Conversant with the international codes and STDs ASME, API, DNV, BS & ISO. However, the familiarity with ADNOC and the Company Technical STD is advantage. Computer literate, and very good knowledge of spoken and written English language including writing of technical reports/procedures and QA/QC documentation.
- Typical roles & responsibilities of shall not be limited to the following:Project Overseeing E&I works, Quality control and inspection of electrical andinstrument materials received at store/site.
- Prepare/Review related procedures, method statements and ITPs in coordination with QA/QC Engineers and Project Engineers.
- Check all drawings and documents used at site for approval status and compliance with the project requirements.
- Inspections of electrical and instrument installations activities. Prepare/Review QA/QC reports regarding inspections, material and nonconformance issues.
- Verify all necessary corrective actions are carried out.
- Ensure all equipment and special tools are available and suitably calibrated with valid certificates.
- Functional test of control valves, SDV and ESDV’s.
- Attendance at FAT and SAT of all primary PLC, control and Fire and Gas systems.
- Approving and document control of all related inspection records.
- Issuance inspection daily, weekly and monthly concise inspection reports.
