Syam started Penta Global in 2004. He had previously been the Regional Director for a Malaysian Oil & Gas EPC Company, Ranhill, taking care of their business activities in the Middle East and Africa. Prior to this he had established Dodsal Engineerings presence in Malaysia, Egypt and Sudan and was Country Head spending a total of 9 years there. He also spent 15 years Heading the Engineering and Maintenance division for Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines (Anglo American), managing their material handling, mineral dressing and refining operations at Nkana Division. Syam is a Mechanical Engineering graduate with a post graduate degree in in Fuel and Energy Engineering from the University of Leeds and carries a wealth of experience when it comes to International Business Development, Project Execution, Operation & Maintenance for the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Metallurgical sector.
